Are you looking for some fresh discussion on SEO, affiliate marketing, etc.? If so, you need to be wasting some time on Reddit like I do. There are a few different subreddits that offer good info on niche sites and SEO in general, but there is one that stands out above the rest. I’ll share my recommendations with you, and if you know of a good subreddit that I don’t mention, then drop it in the comments!
Hands down this is my favorite subreddit to visit. It is full of experienced affiliate marketers and they don’t allow any lazy questions. So, don’t pop over there and ask stuff like ‘pages or posts – which is better’ or ‘what theme is best for my site?’ because questions like that tend to get deleted pretty quickly.
While I don’t personally know any of the regular posters in real life, there are a few of them who seem to be making six figures a year with their sites. And they are dropping real knowledge in the subreddit. You can also find a lot of case studies to follow.
Here are some posts that you might wanna check out to give you a good idea of what to expect from this subreddit:
If you’re interest in getting some basic SEO tips, then this is a pretty solid subreddit – and my favorite of the SEO-specific subreddits. Honestly, I don’t really have an epic posts to share from this one because I don’t spend that much time here. There are a lot of agency professionals who post in this subreddit, which makes is a good resource for cleaner linkbuilding practices and other types of SEO activities.
This is another good option for you if you’re looking for more general SEO instead of affiliate marketing content. This subreddit is similar to BigSEO, but I notice that it seems to be more generalized. And there also seems to be a lot of industry news sharing going on here. Again, I don’t spend a lot of time in this one either cause I don’t get tons of value out of it, but you might find it to be useful.
Though this is a general business subreddit, you still find a lot of talk about affiliate marketing in here. In fact, I often see Justin from Empire Flippers responding in the comments in this subreddit. What really differentiates the affiliate marketing conversations in here from what you get in JustSTART is that these tend to be more noob-friendly. In fact, there are countless posts on people who are just getting into making niche sites. And it seems like every other week there is a noob declaring Amazon affiliate sites to be a dead method of earning money online. That being said, you can still find some nuggets in here that makes it worth checking out.
Here’s a few gems I’ve seen:
As you may know, there are tons of subreddits out there and I have no idea how many of them are relevant to SEOs and affiliate marketers. So, here are a few others that I’m aware of (but don’t read regularly) that might help you out in your day-to-day:
