Wow, a lot has happened since my last income report, eh?
And with all the talk about display ads playing a factor in the HCU-apocalypse, it should be interesting to see how these sites are going.
Honestly, I’ve got no clue has I’ve been busy dealing with health issues and not even checked in on these sites.
So, it’ll be as exciting for me as it is for you.
As mentioned when I started these monthly updates, I’m publishing these new income reports on the last day of each month to get fresh data your way.
Plus, it helps keep me accountable to you…because we all know that I will procrastinate on getting these written up.
Also, I want to remind you that these Ezoic sites of mine are smaller sites, which means these monthly updates should be easier for new site builders to follow along with (as well as those of you who are building sites with limited time).
With these being my lower earning sites, they never really get the priority that they deserve.
But still, small amounts of work compound over time.
Note: The sites in this report are only a portion of my portfolio and not the only sites that bring in revenue.
**And as always, I’m an affiliate marketer and this post contains affiliate links, meaning I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my link.
Site 1: Food/Drink Niche
So, last month I was excited to see that this site was getting a boost in whatever update was going on before HCU.
Honestly, there’s been so many updates that I can’t keep track of them.
But, like many site owners, this site experienced a drop with HCU.
That’s a bit of a neck punch after getting that boost in one of the earlier updates.
According to analytics, the site has just under a 10% drop compared to previous 30 days.
Not as bad as expected.
EPMV for the site declined just a wee bit.
I didn’t get any new content up on this site as I was busy dealing with the aforementioned health issues.
And quick reminder, I enabled Humix on this site earlier in the year but didn’t upload any videos – instead I’m only earning from other people’s videos that show up on my site.
Here’s how much this site earned via Humix for the month –
Another wee drop here.
If you recall from last month, I was curious about the top Humix video for my site being completely irrelevant and how to fix that.
Plus how to see per-video earnings.
Here’s the answer I got directly from Ezoic –
If you go into your Humix dashboard, scroll down to Source Comparison, select ‘third-party’, you can see the revenue data of just third party vids. Can also view by week or month.
You can exclude third-party videos that don’t match your site content or simply if you don’t like them, you can block single videos or an entire domain.
So, there ya have it – we all learned something!
Anyways, here’s what the overall income for the last 30 days looks like for this site in Big Data Analytics:
- Ezoic: $28.25
- Amazon: $54.67
The affiliate content on this site is using high converting Lasso product boxes.
And I’ve been using Scalenut (use code FOREVER20 to save 20% after the free trial!) to optimize these articles. You can also use something like Frase for this.
Do note that we have one additional day left in the month, so these numbers are almost complete.
Site 2: Religion/Spirituality Niche
I wasn’t able to work on this site in October, so zero new posts went live.
Here we’ve got another victim of HCU.
Analytics is show just under a 9% traffic drop for this site compared to previous 30 days.
Again, not as bad as it could have been here – but add last month’s drop and we’re at almost 20% down.
The good news is that the EPMV has increased, though no idea why. Maybe just a Q4 thing.
I also still (…noticing a trend?) didn’t get around to making any new videos for this site’s YouTube channel or Humix.
Here’s how much this site earned from Humix with the two videos that I uploaded a earlier in the year –
That’s a whopping 35% drop in Humix revenue compared to the previous month.
And here’s the breakdown by type of play –
Not terribly exciting, eh?
Here’s what the income for the last 30 days looks like for this site:
- Ezoic: $28.86
- Amazon: $0.00
Yes, that is a small rise in earnings. The EPMV increase made up for the traffic drop.
Still not gotten any affiliate content up on this site cause it’s just a tricky one with things to promote.
And I used Scalenut (use code FOREVER20 to save 20% after the free trial!) to optimize these articles. You can also use something like Frase for this.
Do note that we have one additional day left in the month, so these numbers are almost complete.
Plus, Ezoic balances are not finalized for ending month until the 4th of the following month. Just an FYI.
Site 3: Food/Drink Niche #2
Like the sites above, my chronic migraines resulted in zero new posts going live on this site.
Unlike the sites above, this one appears to have a traffic increase.
Google analytics is showing almost an 11% boost in traffic, which is wild.
Though this site does have original images for the reviews, which Google says the want (but that doesn’t appear to be true for all my sites).
EPMV also went up – thanks Q4!
- Ezoic: $11.07
- Amazon: $15.16
So, boost in ad revenue and a bump in affiliate revenue for the month.
The affiliate content is using high converting Lasso product boxes.

Site 4: Tech/Gaming Niche
This site is no longer on Ezoic.
Site 5: Outdoors Niche
This is the only site that I managed to get any new content up on, and it was just two new live posts.
A lot of the content on this site starts trending this time of year…but that only matters if the site doesn’t get hit by Google updates.
Analytics says the drop is just over 8%, so again, it could have been worse…..like that 27% drop last month ::sad trombone::
But hey, at least EPMV is up a bit!
- Ezoic: $9.80
- Amazon: $16.94
Ouch. The EPMV boost couldn’t overcome the traffic drop.
The affiliate content on this site is using high converting Lasso product boxes.

Site 6: Gardening Niche
Got zero new posts live on this site – you know the drill here by now.
The traffic drop has been tragic.
So fucking tragic.
While I think some of this can be blamed on seasonality, let’s fact it – this site got hammered by updates.
I think I’ll try link building with my Growth Cupid (save 10% with code SKIPBLAST) team in the next few months to see if that resurrects it.
Analytics shows a 57% drop compared to previous 30 days – talk about a gut punch!
Ouch!
Here’s what the income for the last 30 days looks like for this site:
- Ezoic: $58.57
- Amazon: $11.58
Man, what a fall, eh? This one is really painful and definitely something that I need to recover by Q2 2025.
The affiliate content is using high converting Lasso product boxes.

Looking Ahead
Honestly, I’m really just focused on my health right now and getting well. I haven’t talked about it much but I’ve been having chronic migraines since January of this year, as well as some related issues.
So, my #1 focus is keeping those headaches at bay.
When I have time, I’ll still be focused on content and I really need to get some of my Growth Cupid team on building quality backlinks for these sites.
And, I still need to work on a disavow file for site #3.
And, I still need to get back to making videos for site #2.
Yes, I’m always behind on what needs done. Now you know that my health issues are to blame.
